What type of ship is your church? Cruise ship, fishing boat, battleship, or what?
Every boat has a purpose and reason to exist. Some are for entertainment, some are for secret war missions, and others are for turning a profit by catching fish. Houseboats, submarines, pirate ships, and lifeboats. Each have their reason for floating. The same is true for a church - while the church theoretically exists for God's outlined purpose in scripture, they go about it differently. Some use entertainment to get it done. Some use a battleship and weapons to get it done. Some streamline to be effective at it as possible to turn a profit. Yet others simply serve to be a life saver.
Question is - what type of ship is your church most like? What ship would you like it to function more like? Why?

hair smells nice."

Introducing the iBible
Some of it funny. Some of it not. Some of it believable if it were early 1990's.
